Some women will also notice that taking an oral contraceptive can help with reducing the intensity of their Period Cramps or even eliminating them altogether. The other thing about oral contraceptives is the fact that you always have to talk to your doctor before you are able to get this type of medication and they have to agree that it is right for you.
The last method that one should try is exercising regularly. In some cases this has been known to prevent the Period Cramps altogether and in other cases it has only reduced the cramps.
